On 27th October 2025, the Department of Management Studies at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) organized a comprehensive one-day workshop on Case Writing and Development for faculty members. The expert session was conducted by Prof. Abhishek from IMT Ghaziabad, an accomplished academician with over two decades of experience and more than 40 published cases to his credit.
The workshop aimed to enhance the case writing and teaching competencies of the faculty, covering essential aspects such as structuring effective cases, integrating historical perspectives of management education, and exploring publication opportunities. Prof. Abhishek shared his extensive insights on the art and process of case writing that aligns with teaching objectives and academic publishing standards.
A special feature of the workshop was the hands-on mentoring provided for developing six cases of publishable quality. Participants also discussed how robust case writing can positively influence institutional outcomes, including its potential role in NIRF rankings. The discussions were highly interactive, fostering enthusiasm and collaboration among the faculty.
