On 26th September, 2025 the Department of Management Studies organized a one-day workshop on the theme “Next-Gen HR: Unlocking the Power of Analytics” coordinated by Dr. Meenakshi Dhingra (Assistant Professor, DMS). The resource person for the session was Mr. Mayank Ahuja, Deputy General Manager(HR) at REHAU, who possesses over 17 years of rich professional experience across industries such as NBFC, Insurance, Retail, and Manufacturing.
The two-hour workshop was designed to provide students with practical exposure to the evolving role of HR Analytics in corporate decision-making. Mr. Ahuja explained how organizations collect and analyze employee data to drive talent management, improve retention, enhance productivity, and strengthen organizational culture. He also shared valuable insights from his career journey, highlighting real-life challenges and solutions that made the session highly relatable.
Through live demonstrations and interactive discussions, participants understood how analytics can transform traditional HR practices into evidence-based strategies. Mr. Ahuja emphasized that HR is no longer confined to policies and processes but has become a strategic function that integrates data, technology, and people management.
The session was attended by 35 HR Specialisation students who are studying HR Analytics in their 3rd semester. The workshop proved to be engaging, insightful, and inspiring. Students not only gained clarity on the practical aspects of HR analytics but also developed an appreciation for its role in shaping the future of organizations. The workshop successfully bridged the gap between classroom learning and corporate application, leaving participants motivated and industry-ready.
