On March 3, 2025, the Finance Club, in collaboration with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), organized a Financial Literacy Session for MBA students and faculty members. The session was conducted by Mr. Manuj Bhatnagar, a distinguished resource person from BSE, and was coordinated smoothly by Mr. Aman, President of the Finance Club.
Mr. Bhatnagar provided valuable insights into various investment alternatives, including the stock market, mutual funds, derivatives, insurance, National Savings Certificates (NSC), Public Provident Fund (PPF), and more. He emphasized the benefits of long-term investing through mutual funds and highlighted the advantages of a Systematic Investment Plan (SIP). Additionally, he raised awareness about the growing risks of social media cyber fraud and shared preventive measures to safeguard investors from such threats.
The session proved to be highly informative and engaging, equipping participants with essential financial knowledge and investment strategies. Following the insightful discussion, Prof. (Dr.) Akhilesh Kumar Mishra felicitated Mr. Manuj Bhatnagar for his valuable contribution.
