On 23rd September 2025, the Department of Management Studies, Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) organized a one-day Entrepreneurship Awareness Programme (EAP) under the E-SDP scheme of the Ministry of MSME, Government of India. The sessions were conducted by Mr. Ranjay Kumar Singh, Manager (Mechanical), MSME Technology Centre, Rohtak, and Mr. Sandip Kataria, who brought with them extensive expertise in entrepreneurship development and innovation promotion.
The programme was designed to sensitize students about the vast opportunities in the entrepreneurial landscape and the various government support mechanisms available for budding entrepreneurs. Through interactive discussions and engaging presentations, the resource persons emphasized the importance of innovation, business planning, and risk management in the startup journey.
The sessions also introduced students to the role of the Ministry of MSME and its various initiatives that encourage self-employment and new venture creation. The speakers motivated participants to think creatively, identify local opportunities, and transform their ideas into viable business models.
The event highlighted PIET’s ongoing commitment to nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets among management students. Initiatives like the EAP play a crucial role in fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem within the campus, inspiring students to become confident innovators and future business leaders.
