Admission Policy for B.Tech./B.Tech. (LEET)/ Bachelor in Pharmacy / Diploma in ME / Diploma in ME (LEET) / Diploma in Pharmacy courses

A) Admission through Haryana State Tech. Education Society, Panchkula.

25% of sanctioned intake shall be filled by the institutions (management quota) at their own level.

75% of sanctioned intake shall be filled through counseling of HSTES.

The admissions of 75% of sanctioned intake shall be done by HSTES through counseling as per the Reservation Policy notified by the State Government of Haryana. The bifurcation of seats is given as under

The reaming vacant/unfilled seats will be filled by the Institute level manual counseling, firstly on the basis of entrance exam merit / JEE rank and thereafter on the basis of fresh merit of qualifying examination before the final cut-off date of admissions.

1. Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) (4 years):
   10+2 with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects & Chemistry/Computer Science/Informatics Practices as optional Subject, obtaining at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of SC/ ST category).Admissions to B.Tech. 2. Bachelor of Technology (LEET) 2nd year (3 years):
   Candidates must have passed Diploma in Engineering Technology course of 3 years duration or more from State Board of Technical Education Haryana or its equivalent with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ST) in aggregate. Or should be pass in B.Sc. Degree of minimum three year duration from a recognised university with Mathematics as a subject in 12th Standard, with at least 45% marks in aggregate (40% in case of SC/ST Candidates).Note: Admissions shall be made on the basis of the inter–se merit of OLET (LEET Engg.) 2021 conducted by NIC online on the website: www.onlinetesthry.nic.in. Eligibility and other guidelines are the same as given in the brochure.

3. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 Years):
   Pass in 10th Examination with at least 35% (33% for SC/ ST) marks from Board of School Education, Haryana or equivalent examination from a recognised Board /University.

4. Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (LEET):
   ITI of at least two years’ duration or 10+2 with PCM or 10+2 vocational.

5. Diploma in Pharmacy
   10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Bio / Maths from recognized Board.Note: The admission for Diploma in Engineering and Pharmacy will be made on merit basis by HSTES Panchkula.

6. Bachelor in Pharmacy :

   Candidate shall have passed 10+2 examination conducted by the respective state/central government authorities recognized as equivalent to 10+2 examination by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (P.C.M) and or Biology (P.C.B / P.C.M.B.) as optional subjects individually. Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations.

Admission Process for for B.Tech./B.Tech. (LEET)/ Bachelor in Pharmacy / Diploma in ME / Diploma in ME (LEET) / Diploma in Pharmacy courses

The admissions of 75% of sanctioned intake shall be done by HSTES through counseling as per the Reservation Policy notified by the State Government of Haryana.

Admissions to B.E./ B.Tech. shall be made only through Three online off-campus counseling.

• 1st & 2nd Counseling, admissions for B.E/B.Tech. (Including candidates under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme/ EWS shall be made on the basis of the inter-se-merit of JEE (Main) through On-line Off-Campus counseling by NIC at https://techadmissionshry.gov.in. During 1st and 2nd Online-Off-Campus Counseling, Admission of Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW)/EWS for B.E./B.Tech shall be made on the basis of inter-se-merit of JEE (Main)  through On-line Off-Campus counseling for the session 2021-22.
• Participating in 3rd online Counseling for leftover/vacant seats, the candidate has to register online on https://onlinetesthry.gov.in as per the Key Dates. During 3rd Online Counseling, 1st preference shall be given to those candidates who have appeared/ registered with their JEE MAIN and thereafter the preference shall be given to candidates on the basis of merit of qualifying examination. The Rank of only those candidates will be prepared, who have registered on https://onlinetesthry.gov.in and have got their documents verified from the Designated Verification Centres (as per Key Dates).
• Admission for B.E/ B.Tech for the candidates under Kashmiri Migrants (K.M.) category and under shall be made on the basis of inter-se-merit of percentage of qualifying exam through On-line Off-Campus counseling by NIC at https://techadmissionshry.gov.in.
• 25%  Management  seats  and  reaming vacant/unfilled seats will be filled by the Institute level manual counseling, firstly on the basis of entrance exam merit / JEE rank and thereafter on the basis of fresh merit of qualifying examination before the final cut-off date of admissions.

Admission Policy & Process for BBA/BCA/ MBA/MCA courses

B) Admission on the basis of inter-se merit as per the provision of Kurukshetra University:

The admissions of BBA/BCA/MBA/MCA will be made through Institute level manual counseling, on the basis of  merit of qualifying examination before the final cut-off date of admissions as per the following state  reservation policy .

1. Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA 3 years):
   10+2 Pass with 50% marks in any stream with English as a compulsory subject from CBSE or any other State Education Board.
2. Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA 3 years):
   10+2 Pass with at least 50% marks from CBSE or Board of School Education, Haryana or any other examination equivalent thereto.
3. Master of Business Administration (MBA 2 years):
   Graduate or Post Graduate in any stream with 50% marks (47.50% marks for SC/ST). Admission to MBA programme is based on the Composite Score of CMAT/MAT.
4. Master of Computer Applications (MCA 2 years):
   Passed BCA/Bachelor Degree in Computer Science Engineering or Equivalent Degree.
   Or
   Passed B.Sc /B.Com/ B.A with Mathematics at +2 level or at Graduation level (with additional Bridge courses as per the norms  of Kurukshetra University)Obtained at least 50% marks (47.50% for SC/ST) level in the qualifying exams.50% marks (47.50% for SC/ST) in Graduate or Post Graduate in any stream with Maths/Statistics as one of the subjects.

C)  Admissions under Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme/ PIO/ FN

• Admissions under the Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) category are conducted as per AICTE and HSTES guidelines through the notified procedures and counselling rounds.

11. Registration Fee Receipt (₹1000/-)
12. SC Caste Certificate (Issued by Tehsildar)
13. SC Income Certificate (Issued by Tehsildar/Executive Magistrate)
14. SC Residence Certificate (Issued by Tehsildar)
15. Aadhaar Card
16. Photocopy of Bank Passbook
17. Ten coloured passport-size photographs
18. Family ID for Haryana Residents only
