Experiential Learning (SERVICE MARKETING)
The Department of Management Studies organized an Experiential Learning activity based on ‘Service Marketing’ under the guidance of our esteemed Prof. Dr. Suresh K. Bedi Sir on 15th April 2020. He proposed this innovative idea to engage the students in such a simulative manner that it can inculcate experiential learning in them.
The mentors were Dr. Saurabh Garg, Dr. Ankur Sabarwal, Mr. Vikas Kumar Tyagi, and Mr. Vikas Nain, who mentored and guided their respective groups for the activity.
Consequently to the guidance given, there were PPT Presentations by Mr. Paras on the ‘Education Industry’, Ms. Drishty on the ‘Health Industry’, Ms. Deepika on the ‘Entertainment Industry’, and Ms. Himani Batra on the ‘Telecom Industry’. The students explained the ‘Service Marketing’ through the theoretical concepts being used in the industries.
Thereafter, there was the panel discussion of all the four groups on their respective chosen domains.
The activity was thoroughly judged and examined by the Proficient Professors- Dr. Himanshu Jain and Dr. Sandeep.
Ms. Deepika Aggarwal was declared as the ‘Best Presenter’ & Ms. Ekta as ‘Best Moderator’, whereas Group No. IV (Ms. Ekta, Ms. Apoorva, Ms. Purva, Mr. Ayush, Ms. Anshu, Ms. Drishty, Ms. Komal & Mr. Sahil) as the ‘Best panel’.
The Department of Management Studies is privileged and proud at the moment, and grateful to the worthy Management and the Director for their progressive outlook that always favors innovation and development. We are also grateful to Prof. Dr. Suresh Bedi Sir for propounding such type of activities. Indubitably, it induces an environment based on Innovation and Invention.
