Waste Water Recycling

The institute uses the recycled water in gardens through a smooth network of the pipe, which supplies the treated water to the plants with its nutrients.

Rain Water Harvesting

There are provisions for rainwater harvesting inside the campus to meet the challenges of reducing groundwater. About 70 % of the total campus area is green and indirectly contributes to the process of groundwater recharge or rainwater management. Excess rainwater through the drainage is collected in four underground water tanks.

Bore Well Recharge

Recharge pits are used to allow the rainwater to replenish groundwater by recharging the underground aquifers. For this purpose, each underground water tank has its separate recharge.

Water Management

An energy efficient water management system is used to supply the water without wastage from the borewell to rooftop storage tanks kept in each building. All the water bodies, supply system, and water filters are regularly cleaned and maintained.
