About PIET

Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET) was established by the Vidhya Peeth Education trust in the year 2006. It was the time when state and NCR was striving of producing World Class technocrats and Managers. PIET was Self Financed Initiative by a Private Management which always had an eye on quality of technical education.

The great philosophy of PIET management has created an edifice that is strengthening its foundation, which can only rise higher and higher. Quality and Integrity is the essence for achieving Excellence at PIET. Members of Executive Academic Advisory Board being eminent personalities and philanthropists which have been successful in their endeavors set out with a common desire to design to serve the community through value based education.

A Multidisciplinary institute affiliated to kurukshetra university, Kurukshetra approved by AICTE, New Delhi provides Undergraduate programs in Engineering and Management. About The Conference

International Conference on Intelligent Systems: Approaches, Technologies, and Network -2023 (ICIS-2023) will be held during December 4th – 5th 2023 by Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Emerging Technology) at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology (PIET), Panipat, Haryana, India. The ICIS-2023 aims to bring together the international community of researchers, academics & practitioners to discuss the latest advancements and future scope in the emerging trends. Manuscript of accepted and presented papers will be submitted to Springer CCIS Book Series (Scopus Indexed), for publication.

Author Instructions

  • All contributions must be original, should not have been published elsewhere and should not be intended to be published elsewhere during the review period.
  • Plagiarism of any type, if detected, will lead to rejection of the articles anytime.
  • One author of an accepted paper must register.
  • Online presentation may be allowed on special request.

  • CRC encourages authors to include their ORCIDs in their papers. In addition, the corresponding author of each paper, acting on behalf of all of the authors of that paper, must complete and sign a Consent-to-Publish form.

Format Guidelines

  • The manuscript should be prepared in CRC Press format, written in English using Ms-word/ LaTeX Template.
  • The Full-Length Paper should not exceed 15 pages (page size is 8.5 x 11) and the file size should not exceed 5 MB. Any submissions below 12 Pages will be considered as Short Paper.
  • Do not use copyrighted material without permission and proper crediting.
  • Do not add page numbers or headers/footers and do not alter the margins of our templates.
  • Any article, not in format, will be subjected to rejection without any judgment on its quality.

Review Process And Acceptance Notification

Review process:

Step 1: Corresponding author will receive acknowledgement Email containing Paper-Id within one week of paper submission.

Step 2: To ensure the quality of the manuscript, the Supporting Team will check for the following:

  • Plagiarism (as per Policy)
  • Quality and Novelty
  • Scope of the Manuscript with the theme of the Conference

Step 3: The manuscript satisfying the above said points, will be sent for review, and the manuscript not satisfying the above said points will be notified as either “Revise and Resubmit “or “Rejected”

Step 4: Three reviewers will be assigned to each manuscript and will undergo a double-blind review process.

Step 5: Based on the review comments, the organizing committee will send the decision to authors Accept/Accept with Revision/ Reject

Step 6: If out of three reviewers, manuscript is accepted by two reviewers, the manuscript will be sent to CCIS Editorial board for a second round of review.

Step 7: After the final confirmation for acceptance of the manuscript from CCIS Editorial board, author(s) will be notified through acceptance mail.

  • Please Note that after Acceptance Notification you cannot withdraw your paper from ICIS-2023.
  • Paying Registration Fee: Calculate the registration fee according to your type of authorship (Academician includes Professor and Faculty, Student include: Research Scholars, PG, and UG Student) and make payment using Online Payment available at home page of the website.
  • Do not forget to send scanned copy of the online payment receipt on email: icis23@piet.co.in
  • Mailing the following items in .zip / .rar format to icis23@piet.co.in
  1. The Camera-ready Article files, both in prescribed MS Word and PDF format.
  2. Copy of filled in Registration Form.
  3. Scanned copy of filled in Copyright Form.
  4. Proof of studentship.
  5. Copy of registration fee receipt of Online Payment.

The mail must bear the subject line as: “Registration of article ICIS-2023-XYZ”

Presentation

Oral presentations should strictly comply with the content of the corresponding paper. The duration of the presentation will be determined before the event, authors will be informed with sufficient time. Speakers must be registered in the conference, just like any other attendee.

Proceedings

All the accepted and presented papers at the conference will be published in proceedings with an assigned International Standard Serial Number (ISSN).

Note:

  • DO NOT submit multiple copies of same article, which will cause rejection.
  • Once a paper has been delivered to CRC, changes relating to the authorship of the paper cannot be made.
  • Once paper is delivered to CRC Authors’ names cannot be added or deleted, their order cannot be changed, and the corresponding author cannot be altered.
  • The corresponding author signing the copyright form should match the corresponding author marked on the paper.
