  • The Session was organized by the department in lieu of guiding the students to get an overview of how to enter into the MNC with an ease. The session was presented by the Alumni Harish Vatsa on 1st August, 2014. It was focused on the persistent approach in order to guide a student how to achieve the target of stepping in to Multinational Companies appropriately with the preferred technology.
  • There is very common saying that Learning never ends and successful is not a person who does not commit mistakes rather he is the one who commits one and learns from them. So on this note the Department organized a presentation by alumni Shrey Mittal (2007-2011 Batch), IT department on 27th October, 2015 to guide the fellow students with starting up early, committing mistakes and undoing them again. Also emphasis was laid on having the persistent strategy in life and never giving up.
  • IT Department organized the Guest lecture for the students in lieu of understanding the latest trends used in the IT industry. The session was presented by the Alumni Sumedha Verma (2010-2014 Batch) on 9th September, 2016. The alumnus, not only guided the students with the certain do’s and don’ts but also guided with the strategical measures which students should adapt while entering into the MNCs and also should be able to climb the ladder of success .
  • Dr APJ Abdul Kalam said “Dreams are not the ones that come while one sleep instead they are the ones which never let you sleep”. On the note of the amazing quote our Alumni Karan Relhan (2009-2013 Batch) delivered a guest Lecture on 8th November, 2017 for the students to motivate them and fill in their sheer confidence with a zestful approach to achieve the dreams
  • Yes, PIET has always believed in knowledge with the presentation. The importance of soft skills is relatively important for the students to keep in mind. The session was presented by the Alumni Ridhi Gulati (2011-2015 Batch) on 23rd October, 2018. Once we are pursuing our academics, we also need to take care of the soft skills to deliver the knowledge with the best possible efficiency.
  • On 15th March, 2019, our Almuni Varnnit Jain (2013-2017 Batch) delivered a presentation on Digital Marketing. In the era of digital all around, it forms a very important and hyped notion to deal with. Yes, being an important module of technological trends it was mandatory for the students to get a complete overview about the Digital Marketing.
  • IT Department organized a guest lecture on 4th March, 2020 for the students wherein the Alumni Nishtha Paliwal (2013-2017 Batch) motivated the students for achieving and soaring high in life. She guided about, what are all the do’s and don’ts that the students should aspire for the better future and better placements.
  • On 5th March, 2020, our Alumni Rachit Jagga (2007-2011 Batch) shared his amazing learning experiences in the institution. Learning never ends and that what he shared and also motivated the students to be persistent towards their relative goals.
  • On 10th April, 2020, our Alumni Shruti Gupta (2008-2012 Batch) presented about Agile Methodology.  The e-hands on experience were shared by the concerned. The best part is that the students were highly motivated and thereby asked counter questions with the alumnus. The students have been learning about agile methodology theoretically but practically it was completely synchronized via Microsoft teams. The set of around 80 students were set up by the alumnus via Microsoft teams. All the faculty and students gained an insight from the same.
  • On 14th April, 2020 online session was presented by the Entrepreneur, Ankit Aggarwal (2013-2017 Batch) sharing the views and his personal Experiences which he had undergone. We talk about skill India and Start up India and perhaps skill development is definitely an effective move to be considered.
  • On 18th April, 2020 our Alumni Kritish Gupta (2014-2018 Batch) Alumni of IT Department, shared a presentation on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM/CE. To achieve and score high, the students were guided with the personal experiences and also students laid emphasis on counter question. Students felt highly motivated by the experiences shared and other learning’s.
