Rotaract Club (ROTARACT CLUB OF PANIPAT CENTRAL AT PIET (R.I.D 3080))
Rotaract is an international organization of young professionals and students ages 18 to 30 that are committed to service and leadership in their communities and abroad. Established in 1968 by Rotary International, Rotaract is a global network of young people who are changing the world with clubs in over 160 countries. The purpose of Rotaract is to provide an opportunity for young men and women to enhance the knowledge and skills that will assist them in personal development, to address the physical and social needs of their communities, and to promote better relations between all people worldwide through a framework of friendship and service. Our college has a very effective and active Rotaract Club sponsored by Rotary Club of Panipat. Young and energetic students Rtr. Vansh, assumed office as President of Rotaract Club of PIET. ECE Department is having a club named ‘YANTRA CLUB’. The motive of the club is to encourage the scientific and technical temper in students along with cultivating various hobby related interests among them and to encourage the creativity in the students by giving them time to bring out the same. Everyone has a creative corner within himself and we are here to bring out the best. The club is student driven and they are acting as coordinators to sprint the same with full zeal & enthusiasm all the year round under the guidance of Chief Mentor, Head Mentors and Mentors. (The panel comprises of leading faculty members). Involvement can be the key to collegiate success. Technical club envisages conductive platform to explore student’s latent talent and also to enable them to come out with their innovative ideas.
Computer Society of India is a Professional Body with 66 Chapters and over 300 branches in engineering colleges throughout India. It has association with similar societies in other countries also. A CSI student’s branch with a membership of over hundred students has been functional since July 2014. Teachers and students of Computer Science, IT & Computer Applications Departments are actively participating in the activities of CSI.
Mechrous Society of PIET own society was founded and developed by the esteemed faculty and students of Mechanical Engineering Department, which connects with the best cream of mechanical engineers professionals career, and evolve the students in professionalism by getting involved. By joining Mechrous Society community of engineers, student can learn new technologies, keep their skills up to date, explore solutions to technical problems and for their betterment. It regularly plans and offers many career development activities such as aptitude training, career enhancement sessions, resume/recruitment boards, and resume database services, professional development seminars, as well as workshops and professional presentation programs. It works as a helping hand in transforming the theoretical aspects to practical needs of the society.
National Service Scheme
PIET has been allotted one unit of 100 volunteers of The National Service Scheme (NSS) by the Government of Haryana. The NSS is Indian government-sponsored public service program conducted by the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports of the India. The NSS scheme was launched in Gandhiji’s Centenary year, 1969 with a dream of developing students’ personality through community service. NSS is a voluntary association of young people in College. The Motto of NSS ‘Not Me But You’, reflects the essence of democratic lying and upholds the need for self-less service. NSS helps the students develop appreciation to other persons’ point of view and also show consideration to other living beings. The philosophy of the NSS is well clear in this motto, which underlines the belief that the welfare of an individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of the society as a whole and therefore, the NSS volunteers strive for the well-being of society. TechVision is the official magazine of Computer Applications Department. It provides a perspicuous platform to the past and present date to share their knowledge, experiences and opinions with the department. Staff members and students can mail their articles, poems, views, opinions, ideas, achievements, activities, events, photos and sketches to editors.

Currently, this club is organizing intra and inter department cultural competitions were organized successfully by this club.
