National Conference on “Digital Disruption- The Challenges and Opportunities” (DDCO-2k17)

The Department of Management Studies, Panipat Institute of Engineering & Technology (PIET) organized a National Conference on one of the burning topics of the day: ‘Digital Disruption- The Challenges and Opportunities’ (DDCO-2k17) on 30th June, 2017 under the guidance of Convener Dr. Yoginder S. Kataria, HOD, Department of Management Studies, BBA.

The keynote address for the one-day Conference was given by Prof. Sanjiv Mittal, Prof. and Dean, GGSIP University, Dwarka, Delhi. He was also the Chairperson for the Introductory Session. Mr. Kashish Jhamb, CEO, City Innovates, Gurgaon was the Guest of Honour. The Technical Session was chaired by Dr. Rajbir Singh, Professor, Department of Management Studies, DCRUST. The Valedictory session was chaired by Dr. Anil Khurana, Chairman, Department of Management Studies, DCRUST. More than 70 participants from both within and outside the college presented their papers in the Conference. The varied sub themes of the Conference provided ample scope to participants from all streams of Management and Engineering to contribute fruitfully to the Conference. The Conference Director, Prof. (Dr.) K.K. Paliwal acknowledged the efforts of the Department in organizing the Conference and thanked the learned Guests for their valuable insights which were a key factor in making the Conference a roaring success. The Co-Convener Mrs. Priyanka Sehgal, HOD, Department of Management Studies, MBA delivered the Vote of Thanks.
