A1. PIET is approved by AICTE, Govt. of India & Department of Technical Education, Govt. of Haryana, affiliated from Kurukshetra University Kurukshetra.
Q2. How many courses do PIET offers?
A2. PIET offers a variety of technical and management courses which include B.Tech. - Computer Sc. & Engg. (120 seats), Information Technology (60 seats), Electronics and Communication Engineering (60 seats), Mechanical Engineering (60 seats), Textile Engineering (60 seats), MCA (60 seats), MBA (60 seats), BBA (60 seats), Pre-Engineering (200 seats).
Q3. How I can take admission in these courses?
A3. For B.Tech. : Candidate must appear in AIEEE exam, for MCA: OLET exam conducted by Govt. of Haryana, for MBA: MAT score is applicable, for BBA & Pre-Engineering: based on marks in qualifying class.
Q4. What is the placement record of PIET?

A6. PIET has a colossal infrastructure comprising of Multimedia equipped AC class rooms, tutorials rooms, seminar halls, state of the art LABs, open air auditorium, play grounds and Library etc besides clean and spacious hostels.
Q7. Do PIET provide transport facility also?
A7. PIET has fleet of AC/Non AC buses from Delhi (Shahdra, Narela, Rohini, Dwarka), Panipat, Sonepat, Gannaur, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Trawri, Nilokheri etc. The transport facility is provided to students at very nominal fee.
Q8. What about computer centre & internet connectivity?
A7. PIET has 4 MBPS lease line and Wi-Fi system for students and staff. Hostels are also equipped with Wi-Fi. Besides computer LABs, PIET has central computer centre with 150 dedicated PCs.

A9. PIET has a mammoth food lounge comprising of Air Conditioned cafeteria and Mess.
Q10. Do PIET offer any extra circular activities also?
A10. Yes, PIET do offer a variety of activities like sports events, recreational tours, industry visits, personality development programs, cultural & technical festivals and many other activities.

A11. Every corner of PIET is under tight security by security guards and CCTV cameras. PIET also has fenced walls with power lights with Fire Extinguishers in each building. To prevent any case of ragging, teams of staff members are always on the move in the campus. PIET’s campus is totally ragging free.

A14. PIET QUEST is a mega Quiz competition organized by PIET every year for 10+1 and 10+2 Non Medical students and for B.Com, B.Sc. (Non Medical) and BCA students. Prizes include Laptops, handycams, digicams, watches, ipods, cell phones and scholarships. To participate in PIET QUEST please contact in the institute.
