To provide and continually improve academic environment and systems which give total satisfaction and enable students to develop their full potential and mature them into competent professionals and responsible members of society.
  • To prepare graduates in Civil Engineering for successful careers dealing with analysis, design and management of infrastructural projects both in India and Abroad.
  • To provide the students with a comprehensive and balanced understanding of the several discipline of Civil Engineering such as Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Hydraulic and Water Resources Engineering, Environmental Engineering.
  • To develop research based knowledge and innovative ideas including create and design of high raise structures, analysis and interpretation.
  • To provide a sound foundation in mathematical and scientific subjects which are necessary prerequisites for a clear and sound understanding of Civil Engineering as a whole and to encourage those students who are motivated to go for Postgraduate programmes.
  • Graduates will possess a breadth of knowledge and engage themselves in the life-long learning to meet challenges of globalisation.
  • Graduates will have a sense of responsibility, respect towards society & its heritage and will follow the professional ethics.

The primary need of the humans is to have a house for safety and security, roads and bridges and railway tracks for commerce for which the Civil Engineering is the identified key discipline to devote to the progress of civilization. The country is on a path to build infrastructure comparable with the best in the world and for that competent Civil Engineers are required in large numbers. To meet the growing need of best engineers, the institute offers the B.Tech. course in Civil Engineering. The objective of the B.Tech. course is to produce highly qualified, technically all-round Civil Engineers who could use the fundamental principles of mathematics, basic sciences and engineering for solving Civil Engineering problems through acquiring the ability to pursue knowledge at the graduation level.
