This Department is a combination of Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics and Applied Chemistry.

The Department of Applied Physics is providing a sound base for engineering disciplines. Major emphasis is given on Material Science, Electronics, Applied Optics and Instrumentation, including Ultrasonic and Vacuum Technology. The Department has a full-fledged Physics Laboratory along with a dark room with all the state of art latest equipments and accessories.

The Department of Applied Mathematics imparts instructions to UG students of the various engineering disciplines and caters to their needs in the areas of Applied Mathematics, Computational Techniques and Computer applications.

The Department of Applied Chemistry has contributed significantly to UG education in the areas of allied sciences. It possesses well-equipped and modern laboratory in chemical testing analysis and synthesis. The department closely interacts with the industries, R & D organizations and professional institutions. The department helps the UG students to interact with experts from industry for better academic interactions. They visit various industries during the program of their study for knowing the industrial needs and removal of industrial problems and suggest ways for Environmental Pollution Control.

The Department is processing for Polymer Chemistry, Textile Chemistry, Testing and Quality Control Laboratory.
