Students are expected to take an active part in all the co-curricular activities organized by the college. These aim at enhancing an all round development of the physical and mental faculties and provide an opportunity for use and application of the many sided talents of the students. The students' societies conduct the different co-curricular activities under the guidance of the member of staff.
The Student's Association is responsible for all social, cultural and literary activities e.g. College function, entertainment, debates, essay competitions and exhibitions. Departmental societies organize lectures, paper reading seminars, etc.
The college is in the process of bringing out Annual College magazine and will be carrying articles in Hindi and English, both of general and technical nature, from the staff and students of the College.

Seminars and Conferences:
The PITE encourages its faculty members to actively participate in National Seminars and Conferences to upgrade and remain fully aware about the latest in their respective fields that will help them to be more effective when interacting with the students.
a Mr. Naveen Rathee (H.O.D) of Electronics and Communication Engineering presented his paper on “Implementing field-oriented brushless motor control using ARM7TMI Microcontroller” at National Conference on “Current trends in Technology NUCONE 2006 from 30th November - 2nd December organized by Nirma University Ahemdabad, Gujarat.
a Mr. Naveen Rathee also presented his paper on “Spread Spectrum Applications” at International Conference icon ADELCO2007 organized by National College of Engineering Kovillpatti Tamil Nadu from 1-3
February 2007.
a Mr. Harish Chugh (H.O.D) of Information Technology attended the National conference on “Computing for Nation.” organized by Bhartiya Vidyapeeth New Delhi from 23rd to 24th February.
Our faculty members are also encouraged to attend workshops for the benefit
of students and faculty members:
a Mr.Naveen Rathee has undergone 3 days workshop on Routers and Switches organized by Dax Networks Limited at Nehru
Place New Delhi.
a Mr. Manjeet Singh and Miss Poonam Jaglan attended a one week program On ‘Entrepreneurship Development Program” organized by Haricon Limited at Panipat from 8th January to 19th January 2007.
a Mr. Harish Chugh attended a Short Term Training Programme on “Enterprise Computing Latest Trends with Applications” organized by NIT, Kurukshetra from 18.06.2007 - 22.06.2007.
a Mr. Rishi S Sharma attended a Short Term Training Programme on “Intelligence Control” organized by NIT, Kurukshetra from 25.6.07 to 29.6.07.
