An International Conference on “Innovations in Textile” was attended by Students of Textile Department on 7th Nov. 2015 in Jawahar Lal Nehru Govt. Engg. College, Sundernagar, H.P. Various dignitaries spoke on different aspects in textile which resulted in the addition of knowledge of students. Textile department conducted ‘International Symposium on Technical Textile’ on 27th April 2015, in which the audience was enlightened by the views of Prof. Jiri Militky & Dr. Rajesh K. Mishra, Technical University of Liberec, Czeck Republic and Prof. B. K. Bahera, IIT, Delhi.
Department Of Electronics Communication Engineering, Panipat Institute Of Engineering Technology organized a NATIONAL CONFERENCE ON EMERGING TRENDS IN ELECTRONICS COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING (ETECE-11) on 22nd-23rd APRIL 2011. Total 181 Research papers were received from all over India (west Bengal, Sikkim, Solan, Sangroor, Gwalior, Andhra Pradesh, Malot, Lucknow, Karnatka, Delhi). Out of which 135 Papers were selected for Paper presentation. A contribution of 13 papers was from B. Tech. students. The Chief Guest for the conference was Dr. R.K. Bahuguna, Director/Network Planning Management, RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RCIL), New Delhi. The invited keynote Speakers were Dr. N.D. Sharma, Conference Chair Dean Academics (PIET), Dr. R. K.Sharma, Associate Professor Chairman (ECE), NIT, KKR, Bhaskar Burman, Additional Director, O/O/Scientific Adviser to Chief of Naval Staff DRDO, MoD, Dinesh Kumar, Director, UIET, Kurukshetra, Dr. J.S. Saini, Professor, DCRUST, Murthal, Dr. Lalit M Bharadwaj, Deputy Director Head, Biomolecular Electronics and Nanotechnology, Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIR), Chandigarh, INDIA was the guest of honour during the valedictory session. The Valedictory Guest is Dr. Lalit M. Bharadwaj, Deputy Director Head, Biomolecular Electronics and Nanotechnology, Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIR),Chandigarh, INDIA. He has a Master’s degree and Ph.D in Physical Chemistry. CSIO has initiated a major program in the area of Biomolecular Electronics and Nanotechnology under his leadership.
